No, the small-city chamber isn't vying for money from the $800 billion-plus federal package that's supposed to prevent further economic implosion. Instead, chamber leadership has asked the city of Sherwood for a $10,000 grant infusion -- to help keep the doors open.
"Today, the last I checked, we were at negative $800," said Stephanie Adams, chamber president.
